In early 2011 my wife and I decided to build our dream home in Tierra Verde Florida, we went on a search to find an architect and then a builder as is customary. We did a significant amount of research and came up with 5 of the area’s top builders.

We had a preliminary plan, so we decided to contact each of the 5 builders and put it out for bid. We spent a great deal of time interviewing and being interviewed by the perspective builders.

It became more and more apparent to us as we moved down the list of builders that driving force to the builder’s enthusiasm was what our budget was or what we were prepared to pay per square foot, and not helping us to create our dream home.... this was very disheartening for us.

The last of the 5 builders we interviewed was David Habib from Frontier Homes, I must admit, I went into the meeting thinking it was going to be a repeat of the 4 previous interviews. We met David, he showed up with our floor plans and a big list of questions, none of which was how much we were prepared to spend on building your dream home.

During our interview, David had several concerns about the engineering as well as a few suggestions on how to improve the flow of our floor plan, all the suggestions were great helping us to reduce our overall building costs and improve efficiency of the flow of our floor plan. We were awestruck!!!

With our approval, David did some fine tuning to the floor plan and the engineering, once we all agreed with the final revision, David came up with a complete line by line pricing for our project. We were holding our breath while he presented it, when the final number was presented we were pleasantly surprised, it was totally within in our predetermined budget.

With a little more due diligence on our part, we happily found our builder!!!

Without delay we started our build, after 14 months of working alongside David and Jill his wonderful office manager and the amazing group of subcontractors, we had our dream home...it was completed on time and most importantly on budget. We couldn’t be more pleased with the final results, it’s everything that we’d dreamed it to be.... David did an amazing job!!!

The word I would use to describe David, would be “Old School” his attention to detail and customer service was so far beyond our expectations...it’s what you’d expect to get but never seem to. David’s organizational systems leaves very little to interpretation so ultimately you end up with exactly what you wanted.

it’s now been 4 years since we completed our build, however whenever I have a question or concern about something in the house, I reach out to David, he’s always available to me and is always willing to assist with whatever I need...this is old school customer service.

I guess the best thing I could say about our experience with David Habib & Frontier Homes is...We couldn’t imagine having a better house building experience and if we were to ever build another home we wouldn’t do it without David.
